A binding contract between you (the client that we have booked for) and KJong Uganda Safaris Ltd only exists when a confirmation has been made. A prepayment of 40% of the total cost of your Safari shall be relevant and required to justify your booking secured. Upon your confirmed booking, we will confirm in writing providing full details of your holiday reserved. The balance payment should therefore be paid 3 weeks (21 days) before commencement of our services. If payment is not made by the due date, we reserve the right to treat the booking as having been canceled by you, and apply cancellations in.

Cancellation by KJong Uganda Safaris Uganda Ltd
While doing our utmost to avoid cancellations, we must reserve the right to cancel arrangements. If this should Happen ( other than due to your default in paying) we would offer the choice of an alternative arrangement (paying or receiving refund in respect of any price difference) or receiving a full refund of all monies paid. If an arrangement canceled because of an insufficient number of people that have booked a scheduled tour, notification will be given no less than 14 days before commencement of our services. If we are forced to curtail a tour after departure due to circumstances amounting to “Force Majeure” we cannot make any refund or pay any compensation or be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by you as a result.

Cancellation by the client
We must be notified of cancellations in writing. If notification is received 35 days or less before commencement of our services, a cancellation fee of 25% of the price of these services is payable. If notification is received 7 days or less before commencement, the cancellation fee payable is 100% of the total Tour Price.

Force Majeure
Force majeure' means those circumstances where our performance with you is prevented or affected by reasons of war, threat of war, strife, industrial dispute, governmental actions and all similar events beyond our control. In these circumstances we shall not be liable to pay any compensation or otherwise be responsible for any expense or losses you might incur where we are forced as a result to cancel, delay, curtail or change your arrangement in any way or where the performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected.

We reserve the right to make changes to brochure details and holiday arrangements both before and after your booking is made. Most changes will be minor. If we have to make significant changes to an arrangement, you will be notified at the earliest possible opportunity. In such changes you will have the choice of either accepting the change or booking alternative arrangements (Paying or receiving a refund in respect of any price difference) or receiving a refund in respect of any price difference) or receiving an immediate full refund of all monies paid.

We advice a comprehensive cover should be obtained including for cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, personal laggage, money and public liability before the commencement of your tour. This should be arranged at the time of payment of the deposit, and will in certain circumstances, cover you against loss of deposit or cancellation fee from the date of confirmation of your booking, as shown in the insurance policy. You also agree to indemnify us against all third party claims, actions, damages or remedies that may be brought against us in respect of your participation in the tour.

Each Tour package comprises of one or more service components: the organization of transport, meals, entrance fees, accommodation and/or other facilities or services. KJong Uganda Safaris Uganda has no direct day-to-day control over its suppliers. Accordingly KJong Uganda Safaris accepts no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, irregularity and/or inconvenience which may be occasioned by any defect in any object (including Vehicle) utilized by any supply of any service or by an act or omission of any supplier of its servants or agents.

KJong Uganda Safaris Ltd shall not be liable for any loss or expense arising from the loss of property, cancellation or curtailment of the tour however caused, save only to the extent that such loss of laggage, cancellation or curtailment was caused by our own negligence. If sickness or accident interrupts a tour, We shall not be liable for any cost or expense arising there from, save only to the extent that such sickness or accident (beyond any reasonable doubt) was caused by KJong Uganda Safaris Uganda willful act or gross negligence. We shall not be liable for any refund, either total or partial, of passage money paid. We recommend the travelers to take out necessary insurance to protect against such eventuality.

Complains about any of the safari arrangements by the client must be brought to the attention of the tour leader or a representative of KJong Uganda Safaris at the time so that they may use their best endeavors to rectify the situation. Should the problem remain unsolved, a complaint must be put in writing to us within 28 days of the safari.

Handling complaints
At KJong Uganda Safaris in Uganda we acknowledge Complaints and must be reported immediately to our representative or staff and to the supplier of the service(s) in question, who will do their best to resolve any problem. If you remain dissatisfied, please call our Safari planner in Kasese as soon as you can to enable our dedicated team to investigate and resolve matters to your satisfaction. Regrettably, liability for any complaints not notified will not be accepted.

Our Responsibilities and Obligations
Please note our responsibilities and obligations apply only in respect of those services, which we agree to arrange or provide on your behalf. We cannot any accept liability for any services which you arrange on your own or perhaps as your group.
