Kjong Uganda safaris brings you a 5 days gorilla trekking and rafting experience in Uganda, Uganda Gorilla trekking and White Water Rafting is a total and complete Ugandan Adventure. On arrival you have a night in Kampala and on the second day you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park the home of world’s more than half mountain Gorillas in number, trekking gorillas in the deep forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, we then drive back to Kampala and then spend the last day in Jinja as we fully adventure the Nile.
The 5 days Uganda gorilla trekking and rafting safaris is good for total adventure lovers because it involves hiking while trekking the rare mountain Gorillas and full day rafting on the Nile.

ITINERARY FOR UGANDA GORILLA TREKKING AND RAFTING SAFARIS
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport-Kampala
On Arrival at Entebbe International airport, You will be received by Kjong Uganda Safaris Representative who will be there to pick you and transfer you to your Hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Dinner and overnight stay at Serena Kampala Hotel (Lodge facility)or Booma Hotel Entebbe(Midrange facility) or Red Chilli Hideaway Kampala for dinner and overnight stay. (D)
Day 2: Drive from Kampala to Bwindi
Our guide/driver will pick you from your hotel or place of residence early morning and Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National park Uganda’s foremost tourist attraction, and indeed one of the world’s most remarkable wildlife encounters, tracking the rare mountain Gorilla in the remote forests of south-western Uganda. These magnificent animals are found exclusively in the forests of Bwindi Impenetrable and Virunga National Parks, the world bares a number less than 800 where over half of them are living in Uganda hence creating higher chances of encountering them on our 5 days Uganda gorilla trekking and rafting safaris, through Mbarara (283 km from Kampala) via Masaka. Make a first stop over at Equator crossing for snacks and photography and Proceed with a visit to Igongo Cultural village this is more rewarding and amazing as you visit the Ankole museum.
Lunch break is made at Agip Motel in Mbarara. After lunch, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a night and Dinner at either Buhoma Lodge, Mahogany Springs, Gorilla Safari Lodge (High end facility), or Buhoma community Camp or Nkuringo Gorilla camp (Budget facility) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 3: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
Our 5 days Uganda gorilla trekking and rafting safaris begins with an early an briefing about the gorilla trekking do’s and don’ts in the morning after you have finished with your breakfast at the lodge, Gorilla trekking takes more than 2-3 hours therefore you will trek with packed lunch and walking stick as a 3rd leg to support you with in the Gorilla trekking session, these can be given for free at the lodge or hired at Uganda wildlife Authority information center for $10.
You are also advised to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots and long trousers. The afternoon is optional for you to relax at the lodge and walk around the communities surrounding the park which gives you chance to interact with the local people and also support the local community by buying souvenirs which they use to support their families, all the above mentioned required are of great importance towards marking a successful Uganda gorilla trekking and rafting safari. Dinner and overnight stay at either Buhoma Lodge, Mahogany Springs, Gorilla Safari Lodge (High end facility), or Buhoma community Bandas, Wagtail Eco camp (Budget facility) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 4: Drive from Bwindi to Kampala
After your morning breakfast, drive back to Kampala using Kasese-Fort-Portal road via Queen Elizabeth National Park for en-route game viewing if your lucky you may spot the Elephants, Antelopes and the Warthogs hence making our 5 days Uganda gorilla trekking and rafting safari more interesting. Enjoy the winding scenery of the foot hills of Mt. Rwenzori arriving in Fort Portal for lunch thereafter continue to Kampala for dinner and overnight at either Cassia Lodge (Lodge facility) or Red chilli Kampala (Budget facility). Meal Plan B-L-D
Day 5: drive from Kampala-Jinja-Entebbe
As we come to an end of our 5 days Uganda gorilla trekking and rafting safaris, we travel to jinja the home of River Nile Africa’s longest River for white Nile rafting as we drive from Kampala to Jinja. After your breakfast you will be picked up by your driver from your Hotel and then be driven to Jinja for rafting the whole day and return to Kampala in the evening or to Entebbe to catch late evening flight back home and this will make the end of service and at Kjong Uganda safaris we thank you for choosing to travel with us.
